|
I believe that the Occupy Movement is the leading edge of a very basic and instinctive response to serious problems in American democracy and self-governance. These problems are systemic and deep, and are increasingly dangerous and expensive. I tend to believe that it is a basic responsibility of every American (and perhaps global) citizen to take some responsbility for our collective welfare. In my opinion, there is a kind spiritual revolution going on in the world, and the enlightenment and insights of this emerging movement can and should influence our national process of self-governance.
My personal goal is to be part of this process, and to help unfold my own personal potential and the creative potential of democracy.
